Why we choose to be Certified Organic

‘CERTIFIED ORGANIC’ VS ‘NON-CERTIFIED’

Australian Certified Organic food has been tested and approved by the ACO certification body to guarantee the integrity and purity of organic food products.

Non-Certified companies in Australia are not required to be officially certified to label their products ‘organic’ meaning their products may not be 100% organic, or necessarily healthy ie. might have organic ingredients but very high in sugar.

NUTRITION CONTENT
Research has shown that organic grown food has higher levels of vitamins and some minerals such as Vitamin C, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and iron. Research has also shown that there are higher levels of antioxidant compounds. Organic food has lower levels of nitrate.

BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Organic food is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilisers or GMOs. Does not expose food to irradiation processes. Conserves water, soil and energy uses renewable, more sustainable resources.
